Friday Faves / vol. 6
Helloooo!
Coming in just under the wire with this edition of Friday Faves! This week has been rainy and short — my kiddos are at home again today, no school — but I managed to make progress on a number of work projects that I’m really excited about, including a new print pattern that will drop next week (sneaky peek, below left). The daffodils popped open in my yard, and I’m excited that warmer weather is just around the corner.
A few faves to share with you today:
knitting: I finished my Mosaic Shawl!! It is my new favorite shawl!! So excited at how it turned out; just need to block it and then I will be wearing it with all the things.
quilting: I’ve been steadily working on making panels for a quilted coat. I haven’t decided on which pattern to use yet (or if I will just make my own), but quilted coats are so hot right now.
socks: Shoutout to Zkano for making cute socks that are not only big enough to fit my feet (I wear a women’s 10.5 shoe), but are also organic and made at a woman-owned family mill in the USA. Their athletic socks are also a fave. Most women’s socks are either too small or shrink down to mere fraction of their former selves the moment they touch a washing machine.
watching: I have not been reading at all. I have been binging shows: Life & Beth (Hulu), then Bridgerton (Netflix), then Severance (AppleTV). OMG SEVERANCE. All of these shows: highly recommend. And if you liked Simone Ashley in Bridgerton, I beg you to watch her in Sex Education (Netflix) as well. Are you watching anything good lately?
Wishing you all a lovely Easter weekend!
xo,
Rae
