Exhibit 7: Checked Pink Top
This week, as part of my personal countdown to KCWC, I'm throwing pictures at the blog of things I've made for the kids this year that never got blogged. It's my own little challenge, to try and "clean out the virtual closet" before I go and make more clothes for them next week. I'll even show you some of the new kids patterns I've been working on. Fun Fun!I think I made this top for Clementine early last spring. *rustles papers* Nope, Flickr is saying I took this photo in February. Man. Time flies! The little horses and camels on this print are adorbs, I'm pretty sure it's a reproduction-print quilting fabric that caught my eye last year. The pink check fabric was part of the first Lisette fabric line for Joann last year. The pattern, if you haven't already noticed, is a top variation of the little dress pattern I previewed two days ago here on the blog. The idea being, if you just leave off the bottom piece of the dress, you have a top. Handy! Not many pictures of this one in action for you. It always seems to be in the wash when I want to photograph it. Which is a good sign, right?
