Trillium is now available in PRINT!
Despite 2020 being a total shitshow and having 5 kids virtually schooling at home and a brand new therapy practice (yay, JESS!) between the four of us, we’ve managed to do a thing: get the recently-updated Trillium pattern into print. I’m so happy to say it’s now available in my shop, not to mention on the way to a number of other shops (I’ll post that list soon).
A few pics to show it off a bit:
Trillium joins Luna as the latest printed pattern to feature our new print design. We replaced the plastic bag with a fully recyclable box design printed with low-VOC vegetable-based inks. I never know what to call this box thingy because it’s not quite an envelope, not quite a box…you know? Technically it’s a gusseted cardboard envelope.
The pattern pieces come on high quality pattern paper (no cheap tissue pattern sheets here!!) and Elli has reformatted the instructions so that they now come in a handy stapled booklet rather than a fold-out instruction sheet. I was personally pretty fond of the big instruction sheet (I like to tape it onto my wall while I sew) but I get it: the stapled booklet is definitely more convenient and practical. The pattern pieces and booklet are both made from eucalyptus pulp which is 100% renewable and are also printed with low-VOC vegetable-based inks.
The Trillium dress and top comes in our extended size range (size chart and finished measurements here), and has two front bodices drafted for sewing cups A/B and C/D. The pattern features two necklines (scoop and cutout), two lengths (dress and top), and inseam pockets. With the print version of this pattern (formerly known as Washi) finally available in our new size range and with fuller bust option, it feels like I can finally check off the box on this intense project. I really appreciate your patience as we worked to get it right — I know many of you have been waiting for this pattern in plus sizes in print for a long time.
You can find the new printed Trillium Pattern in my shop.*
